Margaret Lattie Starks, 74, of Gilmer County, Ellijay, GA, died November
23, 1982 in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Starks was born August 11, 1908, in Gilmer
County, GA, the daughter of the later John Michael and Mary Polly Harper
Lattie. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Walter Starks; daughters,
Mrs. Oleeta Parks, Mrs. Mary Nell Ellis, Mrs. Glenda Whitaker and Mrs.
Margie Arnold; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brother,
Claude Lattie; sisters, Mrs. Opal Starks and Mrs Myrtle Holt. Services
were held November 26, 1982 at Calvary Way Baptist Church. Interment was
in Mountaintown Baptist Church Cemetery. Logan Funeral Home was in charge
