Bailey, 15, died January 13, 1953 in Canton, GA. He was the son of the
Rev. and Mrs. Young A. Bailey. His father was a Methodist minister who
retired from his pastorate and is now city clerk and treasurer. His mother
was a teacher in the local schools, and his only brother, John was a
student a Young Harris College. William was very popular and it was said
that every man, woman and child on his paper route was his friend. He was
the senior carrier here for the Atlanta Journal for whom he had been
delivering for about seven year. Funeral services were conducted in
Watkins Memorial Church on January 15, 1953 by the Rev. W. D. Gray,
assisted by Dr. C. M. Lipham, Dalton, GA and the Rev. Harry Lee Wood,
Canton, GA. Burial was in
