Organized in 1840's. Dissolved.

     Organized  by Rev. William M. Cooper, John Evers and Henry Sears. William Bloodworth gave the land the church was built on.

    Early members: James Branan, Sarah Branan, Harris Branan, Nancy Allen, Archibald Hooks, William Bloodworth, John R. Raines, Ann Starley, Dellah Marchant.
 

     The church orginally was located on the left side of the cemetery. In 1998 the land and the church building was sold and moved to create Faith Baptist Church.  A new church, New Hope Christian Fellowship, on the right of the cemetery was built and established in 1998. Church history is available at Jack Tarver Library at Mercer University.
